Journal Article 2024 02 04 <p>The present study aims to conduct a comparative analysis of Banna’i Kufic script as an element of the integration of Iranian architecture and calligraphy during the Ilkhanid period. This analysis is carried out on two religious structures with different functions but within the same historical and geographical context of Iran. The significance of this research extends beyond the case study of Banna’i script in Atiq Mosque of Isfahan, which appears on a single inscription, and in Pir Bakran Mausoleum, which is examined through two inscriptions. One of the key aspects of this research is its contribution to the appreciation of Banna’i Kufic script, which has been explored in relatively few studies. Furthermore, the study offers potential insights for the pedagogical development of various writing techniques of this script. Accordingly, the research seeks to answer the question: How is the role of Ilkhanid period Banna’i Kufic script observed in Atiq Mosque of Isfahan and Pir Bakran Mausoleum? To answer this question, the study employs document analysis, as well as library and field studies. The findings of this research, as indicated in the table presented in the article, highlight several aspects. Firstly, the inscription style in Atiq Mosque closely resembles Safavid models, particularly in the use of colored tiles with blue and gold shades. In contrast, the script style in Pir Bakran Mausoleum is more closely related to the Ilkhanid period. Secondly, the brick inscriptions in Pir Bakran Mausoleum lack decorative elements in their margins, whereas in Atiq Mosque, arabesque motifs appear along the edges of the Banna’i Kufic script. Thirdly, the textual content of the inscription in Atiq Mosque is Persian poetry, while the two inscriptions in Pir Bakran Mausoleum consist of a lengthy <em>Salawat</em> and a Quranic text. Lastly, the Banna’i Kufic inscription in Atiq Mosque is structured in a quadrilobate pattern with a central square, whereas in Pir Bakran Mausoleum, the Quranic phrases are inscribed in a simple, large square format.</p> <p>هدف از نگارش مقاله پیش رو بررسی تطبیقی خط کوفی بنایی به عنوان مولفه‌ای از تلفیق معماری و خوشنویسی ایرانی دوره ایلخانی است که در دو بنای مذهبی با کارکردی متفاوت اما در یک تاریخ و جغرافیای ایران مورد بررسی قرارگرفته است. از اهمیت این پژوهش علاوه بر بررسی موردی خط بنایی در مسجد عتیق اصفهان بر روی یک کتیبه  و بقعه پیربکران بر روی دو کتیبه مورد نظر این تحقیق قرار گرفته است. به مواردی همچون: ارج نهادن به خط کوفی بنایی است چراکه در کمتر پژوهش‌هایی بدان پرداخته شده است. علاوه بر آن در مبحث آموزش شیوه‌های مختلف نگارشی این خط می‌تواند راه گشایی برای تدریس باشد. بنابراین قصد داریم تا بدین سوال پاسخ دهیم که نقش خط کوفی بنایی دوره ایلخانی در مسجد عتیق اصفهان و بقعه پیربکران چگونه قابل مشاهده است؟ برای پاسخ به این سوال از شیوه گردآوری اسناد و مطالعات کتابخانه‌ای و میدانی استفاده شده است نتایج حاصل از این تحقیق با توجه به جدول ارائه شده در متن مقاله می‌توان به این موارد اشاره کرد یکی شیوه ارائه در مسجد عتیق بسیار نزدیک به مدل‌های صفوی است (کاشی‌های رنگی با طیف آبی و طلایی) و اما شیوه پیربکران قرابتی با دوره ایلخانی دارد و دوم اینکه در حاشیه کتیبه‌های آجری پیربکران موردی جهت تزئینات دیده نمی‌شود در حالی که در مسجد عتیق اسلیمی‌ها در حاشیه خط کوفی بنایی به چشم می‌خورند و سوم اینکه متن نوشتار کتیبه عتیق شعر فارسی است و دیگر کتیبه درپیربکران یکی صلوات کبیره و دیگری متن قرآنی می‌باشد و چهارم اینکه در کتیبه خط کوفی بنای در مسجد عتیق، به صورت چهارلوزی دیده می‌شود که در وسط آن مربع است در صورتی که در بقعه پیربکران کلمات قرآنی در یک مربع بزرگ به صورت ساده نگاشته شده است.</p> https://www.jtpll.com/index.php/jtpll/article/download/89/62
