The foundation of the structuralist approach is based on analyzing the structure and identifying the realities and relationships among the internal components of a narrative work. In this regard, various models have been proposed, among which the most contemporary model that explains structure and the interrelation of characters is the actantial model of Algirdas Julien Greimas. Accordingly, the present study, using a comparative-analytical approach and a library-based research method, examines the relationships and interconnections of characters in Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venice and Twelfth Night, employing Greimas' actantial model. The objective of this study is to compare, analyze, and examine the structural components in both surface and deep structures, connecting them to their central elements to eliminate ambiguities and enhance the understanding of both narratives. The findings suggest that Greimas' actantial model is effective in comparing and analyzing The Merchant of Venice and Twelfth Night, allowing readers to easily identify the similarities, differences, and character relationships in both stories. تطبیق و تحلیل ساختاری داستان‌ها، به دلیل پی برد بر عناصر درون متنی و بررسی الگوی حاکم در آن‌ها، نه تنها موجب شناخت شباهت‌ها و تفاوت‌ها می‌گردند، بلکه درک و دریافت شایسته‌تر اثر روایی را امکان پذیر و ارزش و زیبایی آن را نمایان می‌سازند. اساس رویکرد ساختارگرایان، بر تحلیل ساختار و شناخت واقعیت‌ها و مناسبات اجزای درونیِ اثر روایی است و در این راستا، الگوهای متعددی ارائه نموده اند که از میان آن‌ها، نوین‌ترین الگویی که به تبیین ساخت و ارتباط شخصیت‌ها پرداخته، الگوی کنش‌گری آلژیر داس گریماس است. بر همین اساس پژوهش حاضر، به صورت تطبیقی ـ تحلیلی، به روش کتابخانه‌ای، به بررسی روابط و مناسبات شخصیت‌ها با استعانت از الگوی کنش‌گری گریماس، در دو داستان «تاجر ونیزی» و «شب دوازدهم» از شکسپیر، پرداخته است. هدف این پژوهش تطبیق، تحلیل و اجزای ساختاری به رو ساخت و ژرف ساخت و اتصال به مرکزیت آن‌ها، به جهت ابهام زدایی و درک بهینه هر دو داستان است. از این پژوهش بر می‌آید که الگوی کنش‌گری گریماس، در تطبیق و تحلیل داستان‌های تاجر ونیزی و شب دوازدهم، کاراست. و بر اساس این الگو، خوانندگان بسهولت می‌توانند شباهت‌ها، تفاوت‌ها و روابط و مناسبات شخصیت‌های هر دو داستان را باز نمایی نمایند.
