Journal Article 1402/10/04 <p>The primary objective of this study is to identify concepts and components that can contribute to strengthening civic culture and promoting civil and responsible behavior in contemporary society. The theoretical framework of the study draws on Ronald Inglehart’s views regarding value transformation and the transition from materialist to postmaterialist values, particularly his emphasis on the role of culture and internalized values in shaping patterns of social participation, public trust, and social capital. Accordingly, by comparing the concepts extracted from classical texts with the components of modern citizenship—such as responsibility, social participation, respect for the law, tolerance, fairness, and the reciprocal rights of individuals and society—and by considering Inglehart’s theory of value transformation, the study seeks to establish a theoretical link between the literary and ethical heritage of the past and the cultural requirements of contemporary society. The findings indicate that the classical text examined, Marzban-nameh, is rich in themes related to social etiquette, justice, rationalism, altruism, civic education, and the reform of both individuals and society. Within the theoretical framework of value transformation, these concepts can contribute to strengthening participatory attitudes, enhancing social trust, and developing civic culture. This study argues that the Persian literary and ethical tradition represents an overlooked resource for teaching citizenship concepts and can play an effective role in connecting Iranian intellectual heritage with the needs of contemporary society.</p> <p>هدف اصلی این پژوهش، استخراج مفاهیم و مؤلفه‌هایی است که در تقویت فرهنگ شهروندی و ترویج رفتارهای مدنی و مسئولانه در جامعۀ امروز می‌تواند نقش‌آفرین باشد. در تبیین چارچوب نظری پژوهش، از دیدگاه‌های رونالد اینگلهارت درباره تحول ارزش‌ها و گذار از ارزش‌های مادی به فرامادی بهره گرفته شده است؛ به‌ویژه تأکید وی بر نقش فرهنگ و ارزش‌های درونی‌شده در شکل‌گیری الگوهای مشارکت اجتماعی، اعتماد عمومی و سرمایه اجتماعی. بر این اساس، با تطبیق مفاهیم استخراج‌شده از متون کلاسیک با مؤلفه‌های شهروندی نوین (نظیر مسئولیت‌پذیری، مشارکت اجتماعی، احترام به قانون، مدارا، انصاف و حقوق متقابل فرد و جامعه) و نیز با توجه به نظریۀ تحول ارزشی اینگلهارت، تلاش شده است پیوندی نظری میان میراث ادبی  اخلاقی گذشته و الزامات فرهنگی جامعۀ معاصر برقرار گردد. یافته‌های تحقیق نشان می‌دهد که متن کلاسیک مورد بررسی(مرزبان نامه)، سرشار از مضامین ناظر به آداب معاشرت، عدالت‌ورزی، خردگرایی، دیگردوستی، تربیت مدنی و اصلاح فرد و جامعه‌اند؛ مفاهیمی که در چارچوب نظری تحول ارزش‌ها می‌توانند در تقویت نگرش‌های مشارکتی، ارتقای اعتماد اجتماعی و توسعۀ فرهنگ شهروندی مؤثر باشند. این پژوهش بر آن است که نشان دهد سنت ادبی  اخلاقی فارسی، ظرفیتی مغفول‌مانده در زمینۀ آموزش مفاهیم شهروندی است و می‌تواند در پیوند میان میراث فکری ایرانی  و نیازهای جامعۀ امروز نقشی مؤثر ایفا کند.</p> https://www.jtpll.com/index.php/jtpll/article/download/443/272
