Journal Article 1404 12 01 <p>A substantial body of written and unwritten works, including mystical texts, narrates in various forms and modes of expression humanity’s innate, unconscious, and conscious inclination toward perfection. Miʿrāj-nāmas, or ascension narratives, including Al-Tawahhum, written by Ḥārith al-Muḥāsibī, are among the most prominent examples of this rich and dynamic corpus. This work narrates the author’s path of spiritual perfection along the ascending arc of perfection through symbolic and allegorical language, the understanding and decoding of which is highly important—and indeed necessary—for grasping the author’s message. Accordingly, the aim of this study is to examine this work from the perspective of mystical symbolism. The present article analyzes the treatise Al-Tawahhum in light of the articulated stages of the journey from creation to the Real (sīr min al-khalq ilā al-Ḥaqq) and concludes that three distinct and prominent mystical stages can be identified in this work: awakening and attentiveness, purification of the soul, and encounter with God. Each of these three stages is described through symbolic and recurring concepts and motifs that are directly related to the central theme of the work.</p> <p>بخش عظیمی ‎از آثار مکتوب و غیرمکتوب و از جمله متون عرفانی، به شکل‎ها و بیان‏های گوناگون، روایتگر گرایش فطری و ناخودآگاه و خودآگاه انسان به سمت و ‏سوی کمال است. معراج‏نامه‎ها و از آن جمله التوهم، نوشتة حارث محاسبی، از برجسته‏ترین نمونه¬های این مجموعة بسیار غنی و پویا است. این اثر، روایتگر سیر استکمالی نویسنده در قوس صعودی کمال با بیانی سمبلیک و نمادین است که درک و رمزگشایی آن برای دریافت پیام نویسنده اهمیت بسیار دارد بلکه ضروری است. از این رو هدف از این پژوهش بررسی این اثر از دیدگاه نمادپردازی عرفانی است. مقالة حاضر، رسالة التوهم را با توجه به مراحل تبیین‏شدة سیر من الخلق الی الحق بررسی کرده و به این نتیجه رسیده است که در این اثر، سه مرحلة مشخص و برجستة عرفانی را می‏توان یافت که عبارتند از: یقظه و انتباه، تزکیة نفس و دیدار با خداوند. این سه مرحله، هریک با مفاهیم و موتیف‏های نمادین و تکرارشونده‏ای توصیف شده‏اند که ارتباطی مستقیم با درونمایة اثر دارد.</p> https://www.jtpll.com/index.php/jtpll/article/download/401/338
