In this regard, by drawing on the fundamental concepts of Gadamerian hermeneutics—such as the historicity of understanding, the fusion of horizons, and prejudice—the possibility of reinterpreting the narrative and allegorical structure of the work was established, and the relationship between mystical wayfaring in Attar’s text and the process of understanding in philosophical hermeneutics was explicated. The findings of the study indicated that, within the horizon of Gadamer’s philosophical hermeneutics, Conference of the Birds should be regarded as a historically situated text emerging from tradition; a text that acquires meaning not in a vacuum, but within the context of Islamic mystical tradition and in the continuity of its history of effects. In each period, this work is reinterpreted in light of new questions and horizons of expectation, and it remains open to ever-new readings. At the same time, the allegorical and narrative structure of Conference of the Birds constitutes an autonomous and dynamic movement that encompasses both subject and object, and reveals truth not in propositional form, but as an event and lived experience. Accordingly, Conference of the Birds is not only a foundational text in Iranian mysticism, but also a concrete exemplar of the realization of the principles of Gadamer’s philosophical hermeneutics; a work that demonstrates that understanding is a living, historical, and dialogical event, and that meaning is constituted through the dynamic interaction among tradition, text, and interpreter.</p> <p>پژوهش حاضر با هدف ارائه خوانشی هرمنوتیکی از منطق الطیر  عطار در افق فلسفی گادامر، و نشان دادن امکان فهم این اثر نه به‌مثابه متنی واجد معانی تثبیت‌شده، بلکه به‌عنوان رخدادی زنده و گفت‌وگومحور، انجام شد. در این راستا، با بهره‌گیری از مفاهیم بنیادین هرمنوتیک گادامری، همچون تاریخ‌مندی فهم، امتزاج افق‌ها، و پیش‌داوری، امکان بازخوانی ساختار روایی و تمثیلی اثر فراهم شد و نسبت میان سلوک عرفانی در متن عطار و فرآیند فهم در هرمنوتیک فلسفی تبیین گردید. نتایج پژوهش نشان داد که در افق هرمنوتیک فلسفی گادامر، منطق‌الطیر را باید متنی تاریخ‌مند و برآمده از سنت دانست؛ متنی که نه در خلأ، بلکه در بطن سنت عرفانی اسلامی و در تداوم تاریخِ اثرگذاری  آن معنا می‌یابد. این اثر در هر دوره، در پرتو پرسش‌ها و افق انتظارات تازه، بازتفسیر شده و همچنان در معرض خوانش‌های نو قرار دارد. در عین حال، ساختار تمثیلی و روایی منطق‌الطیر حرکتی خودآیین و پویا است که سوژه و ابژه را در بر می‌گیرد و حقیقت را نه به‌صورت گزاره‌ای، بلکه در قالب رخداد و تجربه آشکار می‌سازد. بدین‌ترتیب، منطق‌الطیر نه‌تنها متنی بنیادین در عرفان ایرانی، بلکه نمونه‌ای انضمامی از تحقق اصول هرمنوتیک فلسفی گادامر است؛ اثری که نشان می‌دهد فهم، رویدادی زنده، تاریخی و دیالوژیک است و معنا در تعامل پویا میان سنت، متن و مفسر شکل می‌گیرد.</p> https://www.jtpll.com/index.php/jtpll/article/download/314/211
