In fact, the lexical layer examines the characteristics and properties of each word. Therefore, in order to identify the style of any poet or writer, attention must be paid to the type of selection and use of words. This study aims to examine the issue of the lexical layer in the ghazals of Saif-e Farghani using a descriptive–analytical method. The results of the research indicate that the ghazal constitutes the majority of Saif-e Farghani’s poetic corpus. By employing Turkish and Mongolian words, the poet depicts the oppressive nature of this invading group and even expresses his hatred toward them. The poet’s use of sensory vocabulary exceeds that of abstract vocabulary. Since Saif’s ghazals are influenced by the Iraqi style, common words appear with high frequency. In order to create a romantic atmosphere, he employs a soft and delicate language while simultaneously using formal and elevated expressions to attract the attention of the beloved. At times, he also exhibits exaggeration in expressing affection toward the beloved, lowering his human dignity to the level of a dog and even praising a male beloved. Furthermore, among Saif’s symbolic codes, the codes of love and mysticism have the highest frequency in his ghazals, and marked and unmarked words—especially when he draws upon his local dialect—enhance the distinctiveness of his poetry. Another stylistic feature of Saif is his use of Nishapuri verb forms in his ghazals.</p> <p>لایه واژگانی<strong> </strong>یکی از لایه­های سبک­شناسی لایه­ای است<strong> </strong>که در<strong> </strong>تحلیل متن­ها کاربرد دارد. در واقع با لایه واژگانی به ویژگی­ها و خصوصیات هر کلمه پرداخته می­شود. بنابراین<strong> </strong>برای شناخت سبک هر شاعر و نویسنده­ای، باید به نوع گزینش و کاربرد واژه­های او توجه کرد. در نظر است با استفاده از شیوه توصیفی-تحلیلی، مسأله لایه واژگانی در غزل­های سیف فرغانی را مورد بررسی قرار دهیم. نتایج تحقیق نشان می­دهند که غزل­، بخش اعظم شعرهای سیف فرغانی است. شاعر با استفاده از واژه­های ترکی و مغولی، چهره ظالمانه این قوم مهاجم و حتی نفرت خود را از ایشان نشان می­دهد. میزان استفاده شاعر از واژگان حسی بیشتر از واژگان انتزاعی است. غزل­های سیف چون متأثر از سبک عراقی هستند به همین دلیل واژه­های عام بسامد بالایی دارند. او برای ایجاد فضایی عاشقانه باید از زبانی نرم و لطیف و در عین حال تعبیرهای رسمی و فاخر استفاده کند تا بتواند نظر معشوق را به خود جلب کند. گاه در ابراز علاقه به معشوق دچار افراط نیز می­شود و شأن انسانی خود را تا حد سگ پایین می­آورد و حتی به تمجید از معشوق مذکر می­پردازد.از طرفی در بین رمزگان­های سیف، رمزگان عشق و تصوف بیشترین بسامد را در غزل­های او دارند و واژگان نشان­دار و بی­نشان هم به ویژه هنگامی که از لهجه خود کمک می­گیرد شعر او را برجسته کرده است. از دیگر ویژگی­های سبکی سیف می­توان به استفاده او از فعل­های نیشابوری در غزل­هایش اشاره کرد.  </p> https://www.jtpll.com/index.php/jtpll/article/download/292/234
